Business Auditing Course (also available as an ILM endorsed course)

This 4 days course has been used by numerous Fire Services throughout England to help prepare their audit teams for conducting internal audits that support best value reviews and comprehensive performance assessment. The principles taught on the course can be applied to operational assessments.

This highly practical course, that includes a live audit exercise, aims to give participants instruction in the use of internal audit as a tool for business improvement and the communication of best practice, and to provide practical training in the effective preparation and conduct of internal audits used in this way.

The course is also available as an ILM endorsed course. Candidates registered on this programme are automatically offered one year's free studying membership with ILM.
